Fobs you authorise but do not personally carry. The tenant's access to your investment lot. A property manager's access. The cleaner you arranged. Each one shows who currently holds it, so you can answer the question "who has my fobs" without leaving the page.

Other access to your lots.

Access to your lots that you did not personally authorise. A co-owner's contractor. A grant the building manager made directly. The cleaner your spouse hired. We surface these so you can see them and act if you want to.

Why this section exists. Without it, you would see only your own fobs and the ones you arranged, and you would not know about access to your apartment that someone else authorised. The page answers the question "who else has keys to my unit" without you having to ask it.

The lifecycle of every credential.

Every fob and every mobile credential moves through the same five stops. You see the current state in your view; we capture every transition behind the scenes.

  1. Verified

    Your identity and authority confirmed. Government ID plus a photo, via a trusted provider.

  2. Issued

    The fob is in the post, or the mobile credential is prepared. It shows as in transit and is not counted as held by anyone yet.

  3. Active

    You confirm it arrived, or your device enrolment completes. The record now shows the fob with you, at the doors it is scoped to.

  4. Reassigned

    A tenancy turns over, a lot changes hands, a fob comes back. The credential moves to its new holder and the old holder's claim on it ends, with both recorded.

  5. Ended

    Lost, sold, returned, or ended. Deactivation is recorded here and your installer takes it off the panel. The record of it never leaves the audit trail.

Custodian and holder. Two words, one register.

The reason your view splits into "fobs you hold" and "fobs in your care" is a deliberate distinction. It matters when something goes wrong, when access needs to be revoked, when an insurer asks who was responsible.

Custodian
The person with the authority over a fob.

You authorised it. You can revoke it. You can transfer it to someone else. The custodian is who Fobmo asks when a decision is needed about a credential, and who the audit trail names as the responsible party.

For your own primary residence fob, you are the custodian. For your tenant's fob in your investment lot, you are also the custodian, even though the tenant is the one carrying it. And for a fob that is yours, under Australian strata law neither your Owners Corporation nor Fobmo can cancel it. You have to ask, and that request is one step from this page.
Holder
The person who physically has the fob.

The fob is in their pocket or on their phone. When they tap a reader, the door opens. The holder is who the access control system sees at the moment of entry, and who appears on the door-read event.

A fob can change holders many times in its life (a tenancy turns over, a contractor swap, a lost fob recovered) without the custodian changing. The register tracks both, separately.
